NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Legendary investor Warren Buffett said Monday that the economy continues to grow at a solid pace. The Berkshire Hathaway BRK.A -0.64%BRK.B +0.33% Chairman and CEO said in a CNBC interview that a 20% gain in output over the next 10 years, based on a conservative 2% annual rate of growth, is still strong growth. Though certain industries are hit by this winter's frigid winter, the broader economy continues to improve slowly but surely, he said. Buffett added that he wouldn't pull out of investments based on this winter's sluggish data or the escalating violence in Ukraine.
